The enthusiasm of children is evident on their faces when we try to
teach them something new and interesting. They invest all their senses
to listen and follow the instructions
and capture even more lessons through imitation. They go through the
learning process carefully with patience as long as it holds their
attention. But when we try to exploit this curiosity by asking the kids
to repeat the recited poem, write an imposition, sing the song again,
redo the craft all over for the nth time....then stay ready to get back
the wildest responses...their distorted faces, crooked words, curved
shapes or the gibberish lyrics... Their unrest would be clearly written
in their actions, body language and gestures. All these reactions would
not only deliver their intended message but also make us conscious of
their young age and innocence and guilty of the way we are trying to
push them to peak above their tender fences....
Moral: Do not underestimate the power of an irritated kid...
