Kaka's Night Out

Succumbing to Kaka's pressure (who received a detailed explanation from his teacher on what kids would do in school on the night) and unable to gain support to the argument that children should only stay with family; I gave up and sent him to the 'Night-out' organized by his school. But, I must confess............after watching the highlights on TV, I realized that changing my mind was worth it............he enjoyed it to the core. Though I had a night-out too referring to his schedule and thinking of what Kaka would be doing every now and then, all the pain and anxiety vanished once I saw his happy face when I went to pick him up in the morning.........
Kids need the change! As parents, we must let them go at times, when we trust that they would be safe........
